Installing with JRun (3.0 or later)

To install Project Reporter with Macromedia JRun, version 3.0 or later, perform the following steps:

Note: Project Reporter no longer supports JRun 2.2, which was included with previous versions of Project Reporter.

If necessary, copy the projectreporter.war file from the Project Reporter installation directory to a directory on the server where JRun is installed.
Using the JRun administration interface, select the Deploy an Application command for the JRun Default Server (or the server instance of your choice).
In the Web Application Information form, select the projectreporter.war file as the Servlet War File, and enter the following data:
- Application Name: Project Reporter (or a name of your choice)
- Application URL: /projectreporter
All other fields can be left with their default values, or you can adjust them if you wish.
Click the Deploy button to save the information, then restart the server.
Test the web application by pointing your browser to a URL of this form (adjusting the host name and port number as appropriate):
http://localhost:8100/projectreporter/prservlet
