To install Project Reporter with the BEA WebLogic server, perform the following
steps:
Expand the
projectreporter.war
file from the Project Reporter installation directory to a directory of your
choice on the machine where the WebLogic server is running — for example,
C:\projectreporter.
Using the Web Applications section in the WebLogic administration console,
follow the directions for deploying an "exploded" application — rather than
browsing to select the
projectreporter.war
file and deploy it directly, you should select the directory where you expanded
this file in the previous step.
Select the server where you wish to deploy Project Reporter, and click on the
Configure and Deploy button.
Test the web application by pointing your browser to a URL of this form (adjusting
the host name and port number as appropriate):
