Exporting project data:
If you are running the Project Reporter server on Windows, you should export
your projects as .MPP or .MPD files from Project 98, 2000, or 2002. Loading .MPD
files no longer requires creation of an ODBC data source, unless you store
multiple projects in each file. To load .MPP files, you must have Microsoft
Project 2000 or 2002 installed on the computer running the Project Reporter server.
.PRX files should only be used if you are running the server on a non-Windows platform,
such as Linux. The .PRX export format has been updated, so you must install the
new export macro in Microsoft Project.
